Every year, “Cherry Blossoms” welcome spring in the DC Metro area. They bring joy to all of us and symbolize the promise of new beginnings while serving as an annual reminder to appreciate the beauty and resilience of nature.
The colors of the delicate blossoms are deliberately over-saturated in an effort to empower them and immortalize them in a format we can enjoy throughout the year.
"Cherry Blossoms" is a part of the permanent collection of art at the Children's National Hospital located at 111 Michigan Ave., NW, Washington, DC 20010.
